Xinyi Cheng Interview & Shows — Mount Royal School of Art

Congratulations to Mount Royal Alum Xinyi Cheng ‘14 on her 2021 Artforum interview. As well as rave reviews of her show at Hamburger Bahnhof Museum in Berlin and Lafayette Anticipations Foundation in Paris. And a recent showing of her works from this series at Matthew Marks Gallery NYC.

During the pandemic worlds and spaces shrank. Pictures and memory became expansive places to enter. In Xinyi Cheng’s Artforum interview she talks about how the pandemic altered her art practice and process.
