Exciting Look into New Works by Julia Clouser'19!

Exciting look into new works by Julia Clouser'19! Post grad #wip update: I’m following the Kinograph project and building my own open source film scanner for digitizing 35, 16, and 8mm films! The philosophy behind this is that cultural memory should not be dependent on money or technology. My platform is very much still in progress but will consist of a machine for image capture and software tools for image processing. I have a long way to go but am learning through each and every hiccup I come across. I’m so beyond grateful for the funding I’ve received from my position in the Graduate Research Lab at MICA and the 2019 LAUCH Fellowship organized by @micagrad that has turned my proposal into reality. - JC

Congrats Mary Baum'17 on Having Work Featured in The Jealous Curator!

Congrats Mary Baum'17 on Having Work Featured in The Jealous Curator! Her work deals with themes of belief and mysticism; the connection between the natural and spiritual worlds; and the relationship between magic and miracle. Any magic involving shattered glass, soil, sand, and stone is okay by me … sigh. Beautiful. - Danielle Krysa of JC
