Mount Royal School of Art – MICA \ Baltimore, MD Multidisciplinary MFA
Cheeny Celebrado-Royer (class of 2016) and Jonathan Latiano (class of 2012) are both semifinalists for the Baltimore based 2016 Janet & Walter Sondheim Artscape Prize. The competition awards a $25,000 fellowship to assist in furthering the career of a visual artist or visual artist collaborators living and working in the Greater Baltimore region.
Alumni Estee Fox (Mount Royal '15) was nominated by Kristen Hileman and Kerry Houston as a finalist for the Dedalus Foundation MFA Fellowship. Estee will also be in the School 33 Juried Fall Show, curated by Cynthia Connolly.
Rachel Guardiola (class of 2015) has been selected to show at Light City Baltimore, as well as have a solo show at School 33 Art Center in Baltimore.
Amber Eve Anderson (class of 2016), was part of a group exhibition at Node Gallery in Helsinki, Finland. Amber then gave a lecture at Le Cube, May 2015, Rabat, Morocco.
